Operating since 1990, MCS is a family-owned manufacturer of machined goods, located in the heart of Research Triangle Park. In the beginning, owner Mike Appel had a vision to fill the skills gap within companies moving into the CNC aspect of manufacturing processes to better position themselves in the machine and fabrication industry. In 1995 MCS established its own facility with complete turning, milling and fabrication capabilities.
Now joined by his sons Tyler and Kyle, MCS has upgraded its facility and equipment to provide prototype and consultation services, while also staying competitive on high-production parts.
Looking to the future, MCS is exited to serve more customers in the Aerospace, Medical, and Electronics fields while also supporting the needs of our current long-standing customers. Fielding a talented and dedicated staff, no customer is too small, and no project is too big at MCS.
