Operating since 1990, MCS Machine Works is a family-owned manufacturer of machined goods, located in the heart of Research Triangle Park. Owner Mike Appel had a vision to fill the skills gap within companies moving into the CNC aspect of manufacturing processes to better position themselves in the machine and fabrication industry. In 1995 MCS established its own facility with complete turning, milling and fabrication capabilities.
Now joined by his sons, Tyler and Kyle, MCS has upgraded its facility and equipment to compete with prototype and engineering services, while also staying competitive on high-production parts.
Looking to the future, MCS Machine Works is excited to enter into the Aerospace, Military and Medical Equipment fields, while also growing with the needs of our current long-standing customers. Fielding a talented and dedicated staff, no customer is too small, no part too big at MCS Machine Works.
